The Santander Golf Tour Zaragoza 2025 will bring together 35 players from 12 different countries at the Real Club de Golf La Peñaza this week, in an event that offers numerous attractions. The tournament, which starts tomorrow and will be decided on Friday, is a decisive opportunity for several contenders for the circuit title, with three scoring events remaining before the end of the calendar.

Among the participants are prominent names from the Ladies European Tour such as Harang Lee, Marta Sanz, Scotland’s Laura Beveridge, Amaia Latorre—third in the overall standings and winner this season of the Santander Golf Tour Valencia and the Ahlsell Trophy by Destination Jönköping (LET Access Series)—and Mexico’s Alejandra Llaneza, winner of this year’s Santander Golf Tour LETAS Ávila, Olympian in Rio 2016, and regular on the LPGA Tour.

The tournament will also mark the return of Teresa Díez Moliner, who is back in competition after a long injury with the aim of regaining her form and fighting among the best again. Among the international players, Argentina’s Nidia Kondratavicius stands out, making her debut on the circuit at the age of 54, with an outstanding sporting past as South American swimming champion, international triathlete, and Argentine duathlon and triathlon champion.

The event will also feature a special Aragonese presence with the participation of Elisa Orduna and Constanza Beamonte, who will represent local talent on the La Peñaza course. Orduna, a regular player on the circuit, will once again compete in front of her home crowd, while Beamonte—a club member at just 14 years of age—will face a major challenge on her home course. The promising young player comes to the tournament after being crowned absolute champion of Aragon under-18 and runner-up in Spain under-18, titles that confirm her as an emerging talent in national golf.

In terms of the rankings, the absence of the leader, Lauren Holmey of the Netherlands, opens the door for her main rivals. Alejandra Llaneza, currently in second place, has a great opportunity to move to the top of the table and get closer to the final prize: a place in the final phase of the Ladies European Tour qualifying school and an invitation to the Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España presented by Oysho. Amaia Latorre and Marina Escobar, third and fourth respectively, also remain in contention and could move closer to the lead with a good result this week.

This morning, the circuit’s traditional Pro-Am was held, and the winning team was Elena Melich’s, who arrives in Zaragoza this week in great form. As for the calendar, the Santander Golf Tour will face its final events at the Real Club de Golf de La Coruña (October 29-30) and Club Zaudín Golf (November 5-6), before closing the season with the Spanish Women’s Professional Championship at La Hacienda Links Golf Resort (November 19-21).
