On June 24th and 25th, Golf Santander once again hosted a new and exciting edition of the Santander Golf Tour Legends Pro-Am. This special event brought together some of the biggest names in the history of Spanish women’s golf alongside current stars of the circuit, in an event where nostalgia and excitement went hand in hand with competitive excellence.

Both days were filled with camaraderie, admiration, and celebration of women’s golf, with teams made up of amateurs and professionals competing in the now traditional and dynamic Tour Scramble Par is my Friend format, which always guarantees an unforgettable experience for all participants.

Among the legends in attendance were historic figures such as Raquel Carriedo, the first Spanish golfer to compete in the Solheim Cup and four-time winner on the Ladies European Tour (LET), and Paula Martí, also a member of the European team in 2002 and winner of the LET Order of Merit that same year. Alongside them, other illustrious veterans such as Ana Fernández de Diego, Elena Hualde, Gemma Fuster, María Martín López, Almudena Blasco, and Alejandra Pasarín added their experience, charisma, and good humor to a tournament that has become one of the most anticipated of the year.

The event also featured a distinguished representation of active players from both the Santander Golf Tour and the LET Access Series and the LET, including Leticia Ras-Anderica, Natasha Fear, Marta Muñoz, Elisa Orduna, and Reme Cortés, who demonstrated a high level of play and brought freshness to the course, sharing laughter and good vibes with their teammates.

On Monday 24, the winning team was captained by Noemí Jiménez from Marbella, who led her team to a score of -29, putting in a very solid performance on a day marked by the excellent condition of the course. On Tuesday 25th, it was the turn of Piti Martínez Bernal from Cadiz, whose team won with a brilliant -34, closing the event with a thrilling final day.

Golf Santander once again exceeded expectations, offering an impeccable course and an unbeatable atmosphere for a tournament that, beyond the competition, pays tribute to the legacy of national women’s golf and those who continue to build it every day.

The circuit will return to action on October 8 and 9 at the Laukariz Country Club, in what will be the sixth event of the season. That same month, the Santander Golf Tour will have a busy schedule with two new events: October 23-24 at the Real Club de Golf La Peñaza, and October 29-30 at the Real Club de Golf de La Coruña, where the eighth event of the year will be held. All this with the ranking led by Dutch player Lauren Holmey, closely followed by Mexican Alejandra Llaneza, in a season that promises thrills until the very end.
