The Ladies European Tour returns to Spain this week for the Tenerife Open de España Femenino at the stunning Golf Costa Adeje on the south west of the island.
A field of 126 players will contest the 18th tournament on the 2014 LET calendar, including three of last year’s European Solheim Cup winners, Carlota Ciganda, Azahara Muñoz and Charley Hull, who will play together for the first two rounds, teeing off at 8.45am on Thursday.
Carlota Ciganda has confirmed her participation in the Tenerife Open de España Femenino to be held at Golf Costa Adeje between 18 and 21 September and will make her sixth appearance in her national open, sponsored by Promotur Turismo de Canarias, Turismo de Tenerife and Reale Seguros.
Golf Costa Adeje, in the town of Adeje (Tenerife island), has been appointed to host the Tenerife Spanish Ladies Open 2014, competition framed within the Ladies European Tour that will take place between 18 and 21 September, with the main sponsorship of the Canarian Tourism Board, Tenerife Tourism Board and Reale Seguros, thus maintaining their long support to professional women’s golf.
