A total of 33 participants, including six Andalusians and eight amateurs, will compete for the last title of the year in an event that will serve as the perfect setting to bid farewell to a memorable season.
The level of participants in this edition is one of the highest in recent years. Four Spanish champions are among those registered: Ana Peláez (2024), Nuria Iturrioz (2023), Teresa Toscano (2022) and Luna Sobrón, who won consecutively in 2018, 2019 and 2020. The Balearic Islander also has the opportunity to become the most successful player in the history of the tournament, surpassing the three titles won by Tania Elósegui and Natalia Escuriola, both now retired.
They will be joined by some of the most prominent Spanish golfers on the international scene. Nuria Iturrioz, with five victories on the Ladies European Tour —the last of which was at the 2025 Aramco Houston Championship— tops a list that also includes María Hernández, Ana Peláez and Marta Martín, all of whom have won on the European circuit. Their presence, together with that of other great talents from our country such as Blanca Fernández García-Pog
The setting, the Heathland course at La Hacienda Links Golf Resort, will undoubtedly be another of the week’s highlights. Designed by Dave Thomas, the course combines links-style areas with parkland-style areas, offering a challenging layout with wide fairways, strategically placed bunkers and demanding greens that will test the country’s best players. The views of the Mediterranean and the Rock of Gibraltar complete a unique visual experience, consolidating La Hacienda Links Golf Resort as one of the most impressive golf complexes in Europe.
The Santander Golf Tour 2025 has visited some of the best courses in the country this season and has been marked by the competitiveness and high level of its participants. Dutch player Lauren Holmey has had a historic season with four wins and the ranking title, establishing herself as one of the future stars of international golf. The tour now comes to an end at La Hacienda Links Golf Resort, putting the finishing touch to an exceptional year for women’s golf in Spain.
