Santander Golf Tour LETAS returns to Naturávila Golf in 2025

- The event will be held from 29 to 31 May and will bring together elite players from the world of international women’s golf
- A technical design and unique setting make Naturávila Golf the perfect venue for a key event in the players’ calendar
For the second consecutive year, Naturávila Golf will host one of the most eagerly awaited tournaments in women’s golf in Spain: the Santander Golf Tour LETAS. From 29 to 31 May, the Ávila course will host the next edition of this prestigious LET Access Series (LETAS) event, organised in conjunction with the Santander Golf Tour. This collaboration further reinforces Ávila’s commitment to high-level golf, highlighting the importance of both circuits as key platforms for women’s golf.
The Naturávila course, known for its spectacular technical design and unrivalled natural surroundings, continues to be a benchmark in the world of golf. It also has the help and support of the green section of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, which guarantees that the course is in top condition and up to the standard of a tournament of this magnitude. In 2025, players will be able to enjoy a course that has earned admiration for its ability to challenge both professionals and the most experienced amateurs. This will undoubtedly be another year in which the course will demonstrate why it has established itself as one of the favourites among players on the circuit.
The 2024 event left an indelible mark with the historic victory of Germany’s Helen Briem, who at just eighteen years of age lifted her third consecutive LETAS trophy and recorded a record round of 62 strokes, the lowest ever in a professional tournament at Naturávila. In addition, Marta Muñoz from Ávila shone on her home turf with a round of 64 strokes, which allowed her to achieve her best personal result and one of the most outstanding performances of the tournament. Both players demonstrated an exceptional level of play, reaffirming the quality of the Naturávila Golf course and the high competitiveness of the event, which further consolidated its position as one of the most exciting tournaments on the circuit.
Luis Padró, deputy for Naturávila, highlighted the impact of this event for the region: “It is an honour for us to once again host an event of the magnitude of the Santander Golf Tour LETAS. This tournament not only reinforces our position on the European golf map, but also highlights Ávila’s potential as a first-class tourist and sporting destination. The success of this tournament demonstrates our potential and the quality of our facilities for hosting major competitions.”
This year, the event promises to exceed expectations, with elite players from around the world competing at Naturávila, a course that has proven to be an ideal setting for showcasing the talent and skill of international women’s golf.
In short, the Santander Golf Tour LETAS is shaping up to be a key event in the 2025 sporting calendar, with Naturávila Golf playing a leading role. The collaboration between the Santander Golf Tour, the LETAS and the provincial institution ensures that this event will not only be a high-level competition, but also an opportunity to celebrate the sporting spirit and positive impact that golf has on the province.
