Teams will comprise two (2) professional players of each country.
A player must represent a country for which she holds a valid passport or a country from which she is a native.
In the event of a player with a double nationality, she can elect for the country of her choice, before the closing date of entries.
When she has elected to play once for that country, she shall not be able to change for her other nationality, unless she loses her double nationality status.
Selection of countries by categories
Categories
1. The hosting country of the tournament.
2. The defending country.
3. All European countries from which a minimum of one player appears in the top 100 of the World Rolex Ranking or in the top 100 of the Ladies European Tour's Final Money List by 31st December of the previous year.
4. Two (2) countries as sponsor's invites (who could be non European countries).
5. In the event of a field of less than 18 teams, a player ranked from the 101st place onwards on the Ladies European Tour's Final Money List will qualify its country, knowingly this country is not already qualified. This shall be done until completing a maximum field of 18 teams.
6. However, if the number of countries already qualified still doesn't reach 18, the promoter reserves the right to invite European countries, not otherwise qualified.
Selection of team players
1. Each country will pick its first player from the top 100 of the Final World Rolex Ranking and as the second pick, its first player from top 100 of the Ladies European Tour Final Money List.
2. Should any of those players' decline her selection, the next player who appears on the same ranking will be picked by its country.
3. Should all players of a country inside a top 100 of a dedicated ranking decline its selection, or should a country couldn't find a player inside the top 100 of a dedicated ranking, the selected player shall be picked amongst the other ranking.
4. Should a qualified country not find two players amongst both top 100 of each rankings, teams will be completed with players ranked from the 101st place onwards on the Ladies European Tour's Final Money List.
5. Should a qualified country still not complete its team, the selection shall be made to the first player available amongst the final official national ranking used in that country. The production of this document is mandatory to keep the qualifying country in the field.
6. Should a qualified country still not complete its selection, the promoter reserves his right to pick an invite player from this country.
